Consular Services


The Consular Section provides services to Namibians and Non-Namibian nationals.

For Namibian nationals, the mission assists citizens living abroad by accepting passport applications, issuing emergency passports, reports of birth and death abroad and notarials, handling applications for federal benefits and providing emergency services for Namibian citizens in distress.

For Non-Namibian nationals, the mission provides services to those seeking to enter Namibia for a temporary period and for those wishing to take up indefinite or permanent residence.

Do I Need Visa

Citizens of countries whom Namibia has VISA Exemption Agreements with are not required to obtain a visa and will be allowed to enter into Namibia and get Visitor´s Entry Permit (VEP) endorsement stamps at the Port of entry for the following reasons
